KHS ACE archery team has qualified for state

The Kennedale High School ACE Archery Team, in its first year of competition, has qualified for the state archery tournament scheduled for later this semester, announced ACE Archery Team sponsor, Danny Wilcox. {{more}}

To qualify for the state tournament a Texas high school needed

to have at least 2500 points. Kennedale

as a team qualified with a total of 3048 points. This ranked KHS 16 out of 55 high

schools. As a result every member of the

Kennedale team qualifies for the tournament.

Overall, a total of 2261 students from 93 school participated in the

state qualifying rounds.

Qualifying for Kennedale with score from Team #1 was Dustyn Masner (278),

J.T. Dixon (267), Jacob Warren (266), Gabby Spencer (258), Jeremy Peppel (255),

Cody Bossaller (253), Victor DeCluette (252), Hannah Stephens (248), Kirsty Ballinger (248), Kaylee Huynh (245), Dominque

Johnson (239), Hayden Brock (239), Spencer Murchinson (233), Matthew Webb (232),

Christian Stites (228), Rachel Bradley (224), Hunter Steinhilber (219), Christian Bradley (215),

Clay Hilton (214), Sarah Monitz (205) and Leonel Llamas (188).

The Texas State Scholarship Tournament will be held in Belton, Texas March 31 ? April 1, 2016. The tournament will be held at the Bell County Expo Center, 301 West Loop 121, Belton TX 76513.
