According to team coach Wilcox that score would have placed KHS team 11th in the state last year. Allen won the state tournament with 3,280 points. Kennedale is in its first year of competition having just started the program last year.

The team total was based on the top 12 scores on Friday. There is still another opportunity to shoot a qualifying round on December 15 and all team members have another chance to improve on their recorded scores.

Some of the scores and KHS shooters Friday night included Masner-278, Dixon-263, Peppel-255, DeCluette-252, Bossaller-247, Warren-247, Brock-238, Murchison-233, Stites-228, G.
