Kennedale High School Junior, Cristian Stites, was selected to the Association of Texas Small School Bands 2015 Texas All State Band.
The ATSSB All State Band met in rehearsals in San Antonio, Texas, February 11-14 and presented a public concert in the Lila Cockerel Theatre on Saturday February 14th. {{more}}
Over 9,000 students across Texas began the audition process several months ago. After placing as one of the leading chairs of the all region band, the top students then competed across the state at the all area band auditions. The process concluded in January with some 250 students being selected for all state honors.
Cristian is the son of Robert and Mary Stites of Arlington. This is his first selection to the Texas All State Band. At the final round of auditions, Cristian placed 2nd chair in 4A Symphonic Band.
