PVILCA 2014 Coach Of The Year: Leon Powell
Leon Paul is in his 6th year coaching. He attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University where he received and athletic scholarship to play football. Leon was a 4-year starter and 2 year captain. {{more}}
Paul is currently the head track coach at Kennedale HS in Kennedale,Texas for the past 2 years. Coach Leon Paul won a state championship this year; it is the first boys state championship in Kennedale HS history. Leon is also an assistant varsity football coach.“It’s not the size of the dog in the fight… It’s the size of the fight in the dog.” Congratulations Coach Leon Paul.
