KHS Spanish Students Published in National Magazine

Congratulations to Minh-son Nguyen, Noet Avila and Danielle Hall, seniors at Kennedale High School, for being chosen as contributors to Albricias, the official magazine of the Sociedad Honoraria Hisp?nica. {{more}}
 
Nguyen composed a poem titled, La m?sica hispana: Historias detr?s de los sonidos. Avila drew a picture titled, La guitarra. Hall painted a picture titled, Selena. All three works will be published nationally by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP).
 
Nguyen is the President of the KHS Spanish Club and Vice President of the El Palacio Real Chapter of the National Spanish Honor Society. Avila is President of the El Palacio Real Chapter and Treasurer of the KHS Spanish Club. Hall is President of KHS’ Art Club.
 
“For their accomplishments, they will each receive a copy of the publication and a money award. These three will be Kennedale?s first recipients of this honor, ” said Maesta Stephens, KHS Foreign Language Department Chair. “We are honored to have such astounding achievers like them. ?Todos a una!”
