KHS Wildcat Bi-District Playoff Information

The UIL playoff begins with the Wildcats (12-8-1) playing the Bulls (8-8) from Bridgeport in the best of a three bi-district match-up.

 

Game one will be at home Friday at 7:30 pm at Kennedale High School. {{more}}Game two will be Saturday at Bridgeport HS beginning at 1 p.m. Game 3 if needed will start 30 minutes after Game 2.

 

In playoff situations, a flip of the coin is used to determine place, time and format. Teams usually elect to go a three game series, then they determine the place and time with the third game, if needed, following the 2nd game.

 

Teams with only one strong pitcher sometimes choose to go with a one game winner takes all format.

 

However, bad weather can alter schedules because games have to be completed before the next round starts the following week. The spring weather may test the UIL schedule this year.
