The honored Kennedale production was rated #1 in district UIL competition, placed 2nd in bi-district and was a runner-up at area competition. This is the first time that KHS has made it to the Area Round of the One Act Play in the 4A division, and the first time since 1998 that they competed in Area in the 3A division.

The cast and crew were singled out at every performance. The cast includes twice honored Male Best Actor and Area All-Star Cast member Noah Wyckoff, Bi-District Best Actress and Area All-Star Cast member Olivia Ham, twice honored All-Star Cast member Maddie Fails along with the rest of the performers who won recognition as district All-Star Honorable Mention Cast members including John Corder, Alia Boubel and Ashlyn Greenfield. The crew also features Bailey ?Stanley? Torcoletti who won the Area ?Outstanding Tech? award.

KHS Theatre Director Ms. Genieve Croft is extremely proud of her company and urges everyone to come out and see the final performance of this poignant 1920 era play.? It features a group of women who, while giving you glimpses of their lives, are unknowingly poisoning themselves by hand painting radium on watch dials in a Chicago watch factory.

This is a one act play which is a condensed version of a full length play.? There are no intermissions and it has a run time of less than an hour. Cost is $5.00 per person which supports the Kennedale High School theater program.
