Competing for the first time since the KHS Band program reformed the Wildcat Jazz band two years ago, the Kennedale Jazz Band placed 4 members on the ALL-Region Jazz Band. {{more}}
Three of the four were selected as top chair and qualified for All-Area Competition. The Wildcat Jazz Band is under the direction of DiMitri Higginbotham.

- Anna Llamas, Baritone Saxophone, 1st Chair, 1st Jazz Band (AREA Qualifier)
- John Mitchell, Piano, 1st Chair, 1st Jazz Band (Area Qualifier)

- Darius Hurd, Trumpet, 3rd Chair, 2nd Jazz Band
