KHS soccer plays through downpour to keep streak alive

The Kennedale LadyKat and the Wildcat soccer teams played as scheduled Tuesday night even as the rain was pouring down. The wet conditions didn?t seem to bother either team as they both won at Benbrook. {{more: continue ..}}

The LadyKats won 7-0 on goals by Megan Jakubisin (Sr), Daphne Hunt (Sr), Libby Beck (So), Emylee Pafford and Mary Grace Howard (12) and Nevaeh Johnson (Fr).

The Wildcats laid a 3-0 score on the Cougars later in the evening. Scoring for the Cats were Kevin Tiero (12) with two goals and Logan Fucile (10) with one on an assist by Nicolas Ramos.

It was the third straight shutout for both teams. The Wildcats defenders were led by Caleb Rendon (12), Will Johnston (11), Coby Stroud (10) and goalkeeper Jesus Gallegos (12).

Both teams are looking to improve their record tonight at home against Castleberry.? The Lady Kat? varsity plays at 6:30 and the Wildcat varsity plays at 7:30.
