KHS student earns full TCU scholarship

Kennedale High School senior Jacob Saulsby has been awarded a full scholarship to TCU through their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Scholar program. {{more: continue …}}
Last week Dr Boyd from Texas Christian University visited Kennedale High School to make the presentation to Jacob. The scholarship has a value of over $275,000 and is awarded to only eight students each year.
Not only does the scholarship cover the full cost of attendance for four years, but it has many other opportunities that will benefit Jacob according to Dr. Boyd.?

KHS Principal Michael Cagle said during the presentation that he has known Jacob since he was in 7th grade and that he was an outstanding and young man.and was well deserving of the honor.
KISD posted the following statement, ?Congratulations to Jacob, his parents Daryl and Michelle, and all the teachers and administrators that have helped pave this path for Jacob! We couldn’t be prouder of your accomplishments and how you represent Kennedale ISD!?
