The Kennedale Police Department reported the following new incidents for the one period of November 5 through November 11, 2017 including several burglary and theft of property. {{more: continue …}}

 
These reports and others were in addition to on-going investigations. These do not include calls where no report was written. Some of the offenses, after further investigation, may have been deemed unfounded.
 
Incident Reports …
 
11/6 – Theft $100 to $750 – W. 5th Street: At 10:50 a.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown removed lawn care equipment from her carport. The items were not secured and were valued at $280.00.

11/6 – Theft $100 to $750 – N. Little School Road: At 12:41 p.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown removed a security camera from the property, a public storage facility. Also removed were several storage unit locks. It was unknown at the time of the report if any property was missing from the units.

11/7 – Burglary – Peachtree Court: At 7:54 p.m. a victim reported that her home was illegally entered during the day. Person(s) unknown removed a PlayStation, games, and a 40? TV from the home. The items stolen were valued at $1,200.00.

11/8 – Burglary – Gilman Road: At 11:23 a.m. a victim reported that person(s) unknown broke into his storage building. Building materials and a motorized scooter with lift were taken. The burglary occurred sometime during the previous 5 days.

11/10 – Robbery – N. Little School Road: At 1:29 p.m. officers responded to a robbery call. A financial institution reported that a male had robbed a teller. The suspect was believed to be the same person that robbed the business in late October. The suspect was later located and arrested in Benbrook.

11/10 – Abandoned/Found Property – S. New Hope Road: At 10:52 a.m. a citizen reported finding possible narcotics at a city park. An officer responded and took possession of the substance, which appeared to have been dropped by someone. The substance tested positive for methamphetamine. It was placed in property for disposal at a later date.

11/11 – Possession of Marijuana – W. Kennedale Parkway: At 8:05 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for driving at night with no headlights. Upon approaching the driver, the officer smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The driver and passenger were later determined to be in possession of marijuana. They were arrested and transported to jail for booking.
