The Kennedale Police Department reported the following incidents for the one week period March 8, 2020 through March 14, 2020. {{more:? Continue …}}

These reports and others were in addition to on-going investigations. These do not include calls where no report was written. Some of the offenses, after further investigation, have been deemed unfounded

3/08 ? Criminal Mischief $100 to $750?Parkview Trail -?At 12:55 p.m. a victim reported that during the overnight hours unknown person(s) punctured the two front tires on his vehicle.

3/09 ? Criminal Mischief $100 to $750?Valley Lane -?At 7:56 a.m. a victim reported to police that his Ford Explorer was intentionally damaged by an unknown suspect in a lime green Ford Mustang. The suspect threw a rock and struck the victim?s vehicle. The victim could not give a reason for the act.

3/10 ? Drugs/Narcotics?Sublett Road -?At 7:46 p.m. an officer observed a vehicle driven by a known suspect. The suspect was known to have multiple arrest warrants issued for him out of Arlington. The officer stopped the vehicle and detained the suspect for the warrant confirmation. The suspect was transported to jail for booking.

3/10 ? Abandoned Vehicle?W. Kennedale Parkway -?At 3:43 p.m. an officer observed a vehicle parked in the traffic lane of a roadway. The owner could not be contacted so the vehicle was impounded as a traffic hazard.

3/11 ? Theft $100 to $750?Fawn Meadow Trail -?At 1:55 a.m. a victim contacted police to report that a former employee may have taken a tool that belongs to the victim. The former employee came to the victim?s home to pick up some personal tools. When he left the victim?s tool was also missing.

3/11 ? Incident (Other)?Treepoint Drive -?At 12:29 a.m. an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle was occupied by four males. As the vehicle was stopping, one of the passengers ducked down as though hiding something. It was determined later that the item being hidden was a 9mm handgun. A check of surrounding agencies revealed that Forest Hill police were working a shots fired call at one of their parks. There were no injuries or damage so no charges were being pursued in the incident. The male was a juvenile and was released to the custody of his parents. The gun was seized and placed in evidence.

3/11 ? Indecency w/Child Sexual Contact?-?At 12:18 p.m. an officer received a report from Child Protective Services in regards to a juvenile female making an outcry of sexual assault. The case is under further investigation.

3/13 ? Aggravated Assault (Deadly Weapon)?Lindale Road -?At 4:45 p.m. officers responded to a report of a stabbing. A male had been stabbed during an altercation with a known suspect. The victim was being treated at a local hospital when officers were notified.
