KPD received donation of water from students

Evan and Grayson, representing the Pantego Christian Academy National Junior Honor Society, made the presentation to the Police Chief Tommy Williams on June 2.

Evan described how it happened. “Every semester for National Junior Honor Society, we have to so many community service hours. So this semester we decided to do something for local police departments by providing water, said Evan.
 
For this project they chose the Pantego Police Department and the Kennedale Police Department.
 
Evans said, “We went around knocking on doors and leaving donation boxes. Mostly, we collected money to buy the water but some people just gave us cases of water.?
 
Chief Williams posted on the KPD Facebook, “We receive a very generous donation of water today. With the summer approaching fast, these young men wanted to make sure we stayed hydrated. They deserve a huge thank you, so thank you for thinking of us.?
