If you must post it, don’t post the dates.

The Kennedale Police Department can place your residence on a close patrol during the time you will be out of town.

• Don’t post while you’re gone – Nothing says “Rob Me” like a photo of a family who is in Florida for two weeks while their house sits there, waiting to be burgled.

• Don’t reveal your location. turn off your location on your hone and your location settings on Facebook, Twitter and any other social media that you use.
