The goal is to simplify and update the district dress code for K-12 students. Superintendent Dugger said that he wanted to start the process early so that parents and students would be aware of any changes well in advance of next school year.

School principals for each campus have been instructed to form a campus committee composed of teachers, parents and the campus principal. Each committee will meet to review current standards and compose a list of recommendations.

Campus recommendations will be presented to a district-wide committee that will review, standardize and make final recommendations to the Superintendent and the Board of Trustees.
