The Kennedale Police Department reported the following 15 incidents for the one week period September 15, 2019, through September 21, 2019. The reports included family violence, assault,? theft, criminal mischief, public intoxication, use of gas skimmers and narcotics possession.??{{more: continue …}}

Police Reports: 09/15/19 ? 09/21/19

9/16 ? Assault Bodily Injury (Domestic Violence)?At 10:28 a.m. a female victim reported an assault to police. The victim reported that on 09/14/2019 she was assaulted by her boyfriend while at their residence. The suspect male shoved the victim to the ground, causing injury to her. The victim also reported that the suspect showed up at her place of employment in Fort Worth on 09/15/2019. He assaulted her again and Fort Worth Police responded, arresting the suspect, who was in custody at the time of this report. The victim reported the assault as the suspect was already in custody out and she fears the suspect.

9/16 ? Assault Bodily Injury (Domestic Violence)?At 2:26 p.m. officers responded to an assault. A male victim reported that he was assaulted by a male suspect. Both males live at the [same] address. The assault was witnessed by two adults who live at the residence. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to jail for booking.

9/17 ? Unlawful use of Criminal Instrument?W. Kennedale Parkway – At 1:00 p.m. an officer responded to a report of credit card skimmers found in gas pumps. The skimmers were located inside of the pumps and were removed. The skimmers were placed in evidence to be held for investigation.

9/17 ? Assault Bodily Injury?(Domestic Violence) At 3:01 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. A female victim reported being assaulted by a male suspect who is her roommate. The suspect, who appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance, assaulted the female during a verbal altercation. Officers located evidence of the assault as the victim described it. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to jail for booking.

9/17 ? Incident (Other)?At 6:00 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Officers located an adult male and female who reported that they had been in a verbal altercation. The female was discovered to have active arrest warrants out of River Oaks. She was arrested and transported to jail for booking.

9/18 ? Assault Family Member (Impede Breath/Circulation)?At 8:50 a.m. officers responded to a domestic violence call. A female victim reported being assaulted by the father of her baby. The assault occurred during an altercation where the suspect took the baby forcefully from the victim. The victim reported being choked by the suspect. There were injuries consistent with her story. The suspect was arrested and transported to jail for booking.

9/18 ? Accident Involving Injury?300 block of W. Broadway Street – At 7:47 a.m. officers responded to a hit and run accident. A juvenile male was struck by a passing vehicle while riding his bicycle. The victim was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. The suspect vehicle?s passenger door mirror appeared to be what struck the victim and it was found at the scene.

9/17 ? Criminal Mischief $100 to $750?Caymus Street – At 8:15 a.m. a victim reported that his Ford F-150 was damaged during the overnight hours. The victim was able to identify a possible suspect.

9/18 ? Theft Under $100?S. New Hope Road – At 4:20 p.m. a victim reported that an unknown suspect took her prescription of Hydrocodone pills from her home. The theft occurred while the victim was hospitalized.

9/19 ? Criminal Mischief $750 to $2,500?Joy Lane – At 11:12 a.m. a victim reported that her vehicle, a 2018 Nissan, was damaged with several deep gouges in the paint.

9/18 ? Burglary of Vehicle?Tower Drive – At 2:32 p.m. an officer received a report of a vehicle burglary. A victim reported that his vehicle was broken into and several personal items were taken. The suspect is a male in a white Dodge truck. The offense was recorded on security video. A second vehicle was entered but nothing was taken.

9/20 ? Incident (Other)?Meadowview Drive – At 2:57 a.m. officers responded to an unresponsive female in a vehicle. A female was found by a family member, sitting in a vehicle and unconscious. Officers were able to force entry to the vehicle and awaken the female. She smelled of alcohol and marijuana. No contraband was found in the vehicle. After being checked by the fire department paramedics, the female refused treatment and was released at the scene.

9/21 ? Aggravated Assault (Deadly Weapon) S. Eden Road – At 8:27 a.m. a victim reported being assaulted by a male suspect. The victim only knew the first name of the suspect and stated that he may live in an abandoned building on Kennedale Parkway. The victim reported that the suspect used a knife to cut his finger and struck him several times with his fist before the victim fled the scene.?

9/21 ? Assault Bodily Injury (Family Violence) -?At 12:35 p.m. an officer responded to a domestic disturbance. A male victim reported that his girlfriend had assaulted him by punching and biting him. The victim reported that the suspect knocked on his door and assaulted him as soon as he opened it. A witness was present to confirm the victim?s story. The suspect was not present when the officer arrived.?

9/21 ? Drugs/Narcotics?North Road – At 11:02 a.m. officers responded to a welfare check. Officers found an unconscious male in the driver seat of a parked 1998 Nissan. The officers observed a container of what appeared to be methamphetamine as well as syringes in the male?s lap. The male was awakened and detained for the narcotics. He also had several active arrest warrants issued for him. The suspect was transported to jail for booking.
