Kennedale Soccer Seniors play last game at home

Both the Wildcats and Lady Kats soccer teams played Alvarado at home Tuesday night in their last outing of the year at Wildcat Stadium. It was senior night and seven players and their families were honored. {{more}}

The Lady Kats played two senior this year, Lindsay Irby and Skylar Crowley. Having a great year the Kats are still in the run for a first place finish in district play. The Lady Kats made it through the first half undefeated but lost three games in the second half, knocking them out of first. Whatever happens because of one of their best season, Kennedale has a playoff spot locked up. The Kats should know later this week who and when they will play their first playoff game.

The Wildcats played 5 seniors this year. Wildcat seniors are Dan Gonzales, Auturo Lopez, Malik Jamison, Nick Pak and Jose Perez. The Cats won the battle against Alvarado 2-1, going 3-1-2 in the last half of district play. The winning goals were made by seniors Jose Lopez and Dan Gonzalez.
