Kennedale VB enters final week before district play

The MaxPreps #10 Kennedale Lady Kat Volleyball team (11-15) went 2-0 last week but faces some tough opposition this week in their final matches before district games start on Tuesday, September 13. {{more:Read more…}}

 

two wins on the road …

Last Tuesday, the Lady Kats traveled to Crowley to knocked off the 5A Crowley Lady Eagles in four set after spotting Crowley the first set 19-25. The Kats came back to sweep the next three, winning 25-11, 25-11 and 25-13.

On Friday, the Kats played Midlothian Heritage (14-12) in Midlothian and won 3-0. The Lady Jaguars stretched the Kats in the first set making Kennedale scratch out a 26-24 win. Heritage kept up the pressure in the second before losing 25-22. The Kats dominated in the 3rd with a 25-13 win.

 

another top ten opponent on Friday …

Kennedale will face 5A Arlington Seguin at home tonight with the varsity game set to begin at 6:30 p.m. On Friday, September 9, the Lady Kats will entertain 4A TGCA #10 Decatur (10-7) with the game time set for 6:00p.m.

Next week, Kennedale will start District 7-4A play against Benbrook High School 6 p.m. on Tuesday and then play Mineral Wells 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
