Nothing but heartbreak in the second for the Wolves ?.

After keeping it close in the first half and down just 24-12, the second half turn into a nightmare for the Ranchview Wolves. It started with a blood-pumping 90 yard kickoff return by Wildcat Devan Mason (Sr) just seconds into the half putting Kennedale up 31-14.

Ranchveiw followed that with a nice kickoff return of their own of 42 yards and then along with an 18 yard pass completion set up camp on the Kennedale 16 yard line. But Wildcat defense dug in and ended up knocking the Wolves back nine yards and forcing the Wolves into a 4th and 13 situation at the Kennedale 19. Ranchview elected for a field goal attempt that failed.

Kennedale then put together a seven play drive capped by a DJ Kirven touchdown and really putting the game of reach at 38-14. But the Wolves had another excellence chance to score when they were able to get a 64 yard return on the issuing kick by Kennedale.

Starting at the Wildcat 25, Ranchview picked up 6 yards, lost 3, lost 4, was penalized for 5 and then attempted to go for it on a 4th and 16 at the Kennedale 31. The Cats defense swarmed and stopped Ranchview with a one yard loss. Then on very next play, Wildcat Jaden Knowles took it over with a 69 yards run and another Kennedale touchdown. This gave the Wildcat a 45-14 lead. Ranchview never mounted a serious touchdown threat again.
