God blessed Jim and Lisa Adair on June 26, 1987, in Fort Worth, Texas, with a beautiful healthy baby boy. {{more}}He was given the name of Lucas Wade Adair. The meaning of the name Lucas is Light. He was definitely a bright light in our lives and of many others.

He was raised in Arlington, Texas. He attended schools in Mansfield ISD and Kennedale ISD until the middle school grades, where he attended Arlington Faith Academy under the instruction of Rita Pickett and Charlotte McClendon for 2 years. Mrs. Pickett was an inspirational woman who shared the gospel freely with Luke and her other students.

He thoroughly enjoyed and learned many things including life lessons which influenced his life. Also during his young years he loved baseball, football and golf.

He later attended Kennedale High School where he graduated in 2006. He was a member of the Varsity Baseball and Football teams which he dearly loved and cherished throughout his life.

After high school, he worked in several places, including, Mansfield ISD Transportation, Primerica Financial Services, and Quick Trip. He worked with many great people who he thought highly of and who many felt brightened their life along the way.

Luke was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome at an early age and often struggled as a young child with those issues. One of the ways he began to cope, was to make jokes about the tics. This was probably the beginning of his comical time. He loved to make his family and friends laugh with silly pranks and comedic behavior. Nearly anyone who knew him probably has a story to tell.

He loved his family and friends who meant a lot to him and had a real desire to share his love and life with them. He will be dearly missed and in our hearts forever.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Richard R. Adair and Vernon L. Wright.

Survivors: parents, Jim and Lisa Adair; brother, Wes Adair and wife April; nephews, Landon Adair and Logan Mitchell; grandmothers, Bettye Wright and Johnette Adair; uncles and aunts, Loyd and BJ Adair, Debbie and Randy Phillips, Renelle and Paul Morton, Tony and Tricia Wright; cousins, Manda, Andria, Corey, Courtney, Paul Wesley, Sarah, Richard, Chelsea, William, Jonathan, Cathy, Suzy, Adam, Rebecca and Ethan, along with numerous more Family and Friends.
