The Kennedale Lady Kats are not playing this weekend and getting a well-deserved rest. The Lady Kat went into the break with one of the best records in recent years at 17-5.? {{more: continue …}}??#19 in Class 4A …?As a result, the Lady Kats have broken into the top 20 at #19 in the latest Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA). MaxPreps has the Kats ranked #16 in Class 4 and at #123 in the state among all schools and all classifications.Last Tuesday evening, Kennedale did get their fifth loss of the season against a very good 5A team, Burleson. The Lady Elks, 20-4, playing at Kennedale, swept the home team 25-16, 25-14, 25-20. TGCA ranks Burleson at #6 in Class 5A. Meanwhile MaxPreps has ranked Burleson #10 in Class 5A and #41 in the state overall.Next week Kennedale will play 6A Mansfield (23-7) on Wednesday, September 3 at home.
