Kennedale wins 3-1

Tuesday night on a neutral site at Brewer High School, MaxPreps #12 Kennedale took on #17 Midlothian Heritage from District 8-4A {{more:Read more …}}and came away with a first round UIL Volleyball playoff victory in 4 sets.

 

lost 1st set but …

First seed from District 7-4A, Kennedale, moved to 25-17 while 4th seed from District 8-4A, Midlothian Heritage, ended the season at 21-20. Heritage won the first set 25-22 but the Kats came back to sweep the next three 25-19, 25-13, 27-25.

Kennedale will play the #2 seed out of District 6-4A, Burkburnett (30-6), in an area round game on Friday at 6 pm at Bridgeport High School. Directions

Last night Burkburnett defeated Sweetwater (13-15) in three, winning 25-22, 26-24, 25-19.
