Since the LadyKats (16-18, 4-1) dropped a game last week against Springtown, they have earned wins over district opponents Castleberry and Diamond Hill-Jarvis.{{more:Read more …}}
 
Friday night, the Kats played Castleberry winning the first set 25-19, losing the second 25-21, then winning the next two set 25-12 and pushed in the final but winning 27-25.
 
Team leaders were Jasmine Alli (Sr) with 14 kills and 6 blocks; Raeley Crosley (Jr) 8 kills, 16 blocks and 12 receptions; Noah Dixon (Jr) 7 kills, 4 blocks, 11 digs and 10 receptions; Bethany Kinkenberg (Sr) 23 serves, 6 kills, 2 aces, 3 blocks, 11 digs and 3 assist; Katie Miller 15 serves, 3 aces, 12 digs and 9 receptions; Jodi Dixon (Sr) 20 assist, Grace Guadagnolo (So) 35 digs and 19 receptions and Lillian Rychlik (Fr) 15 assist.
 
On Tuesday Kennedale travelled to Fort Worth playing Diamond Hill-Jarvis winning in 3 sets, 25-9, 25-8 and 25-14.
 
Team leaders were Jasmine Alli 5 kills; Noah Dixon 5 kills, 4 blocks, 8 digs and 7 receptions; Grace Guadagnolo 8 digs and 7 receptions; Raeley Crosley 5 kills, 5 digs, 5 receptions; Lillian Rychlik 12 assist; Jodi Dixon 11 assist; Bethany Kinkenberg 3 assist.
 
The Lady Kats will travel to Lake Worth to play the Lady Bullfrogs in the last game of the first round and a second place in District 7-4A. The game will be played at Lake Worth High School with the game start at 4:30 p.m.
