Local Food Pantry/Mission benefits from a giving community

Schools, businesses and individuals in Kennedale help keep the Mission open for those who need it with generous donations. {{more:Read more …}}
 
Just this past week 4th graders at James F Delaney Elementary and students at James Arthur Intermediate School added over 2,000 items of food to the shelves of the Food Pantry and Mission Store operated by the 1st Methodist Church of Kennedale.
 
The Delaney 4th graders collected over 900 items while Arthur students added another 1200 items.
 
And just before Christmas, Greg Bozek and Jordan Carty from History Maker Homes, presented a check for $500.00 to Esta Dunham for the Mission Store food Pantry at the First United Methodist Church of Kennedale.
 
 
“It’s amazing what can happen when we all work together! For any Kennedale residents who are in need of groceries, said Laurie Sanders. “We are open every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Come if you are in need ~ No questions asked ~ No Kennedale resident is turned away!
