Local youth football team with eyes on Superbowl

The undefeated Kennedale Youth Association 12 and under football team is composed of 5th and 6th grade students from James Arthur Intermediate school. {{more:read more …}}
 
Currently, these Wildcats are 9-0 after plowing through the regular season and the first game of the three game playoff season. This Saturday, November 12, they will be playing the second round game of the three game playoff series at Kennedale Junior High with game scheduled at 1:00 p.m.
 
If the KYA Wildcats win this game, they will advance to the Superbowl, which will be played on Saturday, 11/19, (location to be announced) for a chance of an undefeated championship season.
 
In an email, a team spokesperson said ?This is an accomplishment that is very hard to achieve and takes teamwork and dedication and that is what this team brings. Come help cheer these boys as they fight to keep their winning streak.
 
The email also stated, ?Some of our very own Kennedale High School Varsity Wildcats had the opportunity to bring home a SuperBowl win in their KYA days: Jaden Knowles, Kade Stephenson, Darren Hull, Caden Woodson, David Roper, Mayfield Hayes, Nic Stroud, Josh Vaughn and Chase Doyle
