Paul was born in Wheeler County and moved to Tarrant County in 1940. He married Sue Davis, moved to Kennedale and raised his family. He was active in his community, serving on various boards and commissions including the Kennedale City Council. He was a member of Mansfield Masonic Lodge #331 for 60 years. He was active in the real estate and development business and acquired his first real estate broker license in 1958. He was a deacon of First Baptist Church of Kennedale for 60 years. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren and his church family. If he wasn’t working or active at church, he wanted to be fishing.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby. Survivors: Loving wife of 68 years, Sue Winters; son, Wayne Winters and wife, Darlene; daughters, Myra Rickard and husband, Ron, and Pamela Winters; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and hundreds of friends.
