Members of the Class of 2020 …?

Joshua Fox, son of Brian and Marcela Fox, will attend Oklahoma State University, where he will major in Biology.?

Joshua is a 4-year member of the band and a 2-year State Qualifier. As a member of the band, Jeff participated in the UIL Class 4A Marching Band State Contest in 2017 (Top 10 finish) and 2019 (Top 5 finish). Joshua earned acceptance into the KHS National Honor Society and served as President. Joshua is an Honor Graduate.

Sarah Jennings, daughter of Michele and Jim Marrocco and Travis Jennings, will attend the University of Texas at Arlington, where she will major in Biology and minor in Economics.?

Sarah received the UTA Presidential Honors Scholarship, which was valued at $48,000. Sarah earned the CNA certification through the KHS CTE Health Science Practicum. She wants to be an Anesthesiologist. Sarah is a 4-year member of the band and a 2-year State Qualifier. She is a 3-year member of the KHS Color Guard and Winter Guard. As a member of the band and color guard, Sarah participated in the UIL Class 4A Marching Band State Contest in 2017 (Top 10 finish) and 2019 (Top 5 finish). In 2019, the KHS Winter Guard won 1st Place at the NCTA Winter Guard Regional Championships.Sarah received a Wildcat Band Leadership Award in 2019, and she honored by a teacher with a Wildcat of the Year Award in 2019. Sarah is active in her local church. She is a 3-year member of the CCYM and served as the Secretary for 2 years. With the CTCYM, she has served communities in mission trips in three different states. Sarah graduated KHS is 3 years. Sarah earned acceptance into the KHS National Honor Society. She is a Top 10% and Honor Graduate.?

Isabella Mora, daughter of Elva and Saul Mora, will attend Baylor University and major in Neuroscience and follow the Pre-Med pathway.?

Isabella has been accepted to other universities including the University of San Francisco. To date, Isabella has received over $300,000 in scholarship offers. Isabella was a member of the Wildcat Band for 4 years, where she played in the drum line. She is a 2-year State Qualifier, performing with the band at the UIL Class 4A State Marching Band Championships in 2017 (Top 10) and 2019 (Top 5). Isabella served as a PAL in the KHS CTE Human Services Practicum. Isabella earned acceptance into the KHS National Honor Society. She is a Top 10% and Honor Graduate.

Garth Reed, son of Philip and Regina Reed, will attend Tarleton State University.?

Garth was a 4-year member of the Wildcat Marching Band, which had a Top 10 finish in 2017 and a Top 5 finish in 2019 at the UIL Class 4A State Marching Contest. Besides being a 2-time State Finalist, Garth was a squad leader in the band. Garth is a leader among his peers, serving on the KHS Student Council for 4 years. Garth was also a student athletic trainer in the KHS CTE Sports Medicine Program. Garth earned acceptance into the KHS National Honor Society, and he is an Honor Graduate.?

Coby Stroud, son of Jeff and Lesli Stroud, will attend Southwestern College in Winfield, KS, where he will major in Physical Therapy.?

Coby signed a National Letter of Intent today, April 17, 2020, to play collegiate soccer for the Moundbuilders. Coby received $28,000 in athletic and academic scholarships. Coby is a 4-year member of the Wildcat Soccer Team. He led the Wildcats to the playoffs three times, and he has received numerous honors including 2018 First Team All-District Defender and Wildcat Defensive Player of the Year, 2019 All-State Honorable Mention Forward, and 2019 District Offensive MVP. Coby was honored by the KISD School Board with a Board Proclamation in 2019. Coby is an Honor Graduate.

Trinity Tran, daughter of Tuan Tran and Trinh Can, will attend Baylor University, where she will major in Neuroscience.

Trinity was awarded an academic scholarship of $64,000. Trinity was a member of the Wildcat Band for 4 years, where she served as Drumline Captain her senior year. She is a 2-year State Qualifier, performing with the band at the UIL Class 4A State Marching Band Championships in 2017 (Top 10) and 2019 (Top 5). Trinity is a member of the Key Club, Student Council, and Jazz Band. Trinity earned acceptance into the KHS National Honor Society. She is a Top 10% and Honor Graduate.
