Kennedale is 9-2 in district play after storming through the district after losing their first two district games.

Lady Kats are in sole possession of the 2nd and even with a loss tonight it would not change their 2nd seed for the upcoming playoffs.

However, the way Kennedale is playing, an upset by Lake Worth 5-6 would be astounding.

After wearing out district leader Mineral Wells (11-1) on April 11, 13-3, the Kats have defeated Castleberry 17-1 and Diamond Hill 15-0. Over the last three games the hard-hitting Lady Kats have out hit their opponents 43-13, scoring 45 runs while allowing only 4 and playing error free.
