Three Wildcats named to 4A All-State Academic Baseball Team

The Kennedale High School Baseball team has announced that three Wildcats have earned 2017 4A Academic All-State honors. This comes on the heels of an earlier announcement that the varsity team has earn national academic recognition. {{more: Continue … }}

The three KHS Wildcats seniors that were honored by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association (THSBC) were Eric Brosig, Cole Carruthers & Brayden Sewell. To qualify student athletes must have earned an overall 93 gradepoint average or higher and be a graduating senior.

In the earlier announcement, the KHS Varsity Baseball team for the second year in a row has won the American Baseball Coaches Association Team 2017 Academic Excellence Award. Kennedale was one of just five from Texas. Read full story
