As required by law, the City of Kennedale has scheduled a hearing on the 2017-18 city budget. City Manager George Campbell has urged citizens to educate themselves on the proposed budget and have prepared questions.

The meeting this evening is combined with a public hearing on the proposed tax rate. A second hearing on the proposed tax rate is schedule next week, September 14, 2017 starting at 5:30 p.m.Along with sales tax revenue, the property tax rate are the primary funding sources for city operations.Links:
