He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Ray Davis, Sr., in 1947, his mother, Alpha Faye Davis in 1972 and Johnnie Cunningham in 2010; his first wife, Kathleen Ann Thornburg Davis, in 2013; his second wife, Judie Fay Connor Davis in 2018; and daughter, Pamela Fay Davis in 1989.
