Each year, Keep Texas Beautiful recognizes the efforts of young people, educators and educational institutions that promote beautification, waste reduction and litter prevention through environmental education and community activism. Wilda has donated countless hours to teaching others about gardening, composting, and liter control, through service in the Keep

Kennedale Beautiful Commission and many years as a Master Garden of Ft. Worth, TX.

popular blog and was one of the first to ?adopted a spot?

Wilda also writes a widely read facebook blog on the community Keep Kennedale Beautiful Facebook , ?Wilda?s Wisdom.? Through her quick wit and vast knowledge of gardening, she encourages others to beautify their own yards, get down to earth, so to speak, dig in the dirt, and have fun doing it!
