Uniikye Washington was voted the dfwVarsity Player of the Week for his play during the week of Jan 16-23. Washington scored 14 points in the win against Springtown and 22 points in the win over Benbrook. Washington through 27 games leads the team in free throw and three point shooting percentages. He is second on the team in total points with 334 points, rebounding with 118 and steals at 34.
Evie Worley came in second in voting for the girls dfw Player of the Week. She scored 13 points in the game against Springtown and 23 against Benbrook. Through 32 games she has scored 531 points (1st on team), 188 rebounds (2nd), 138 assist (2nd), 158 steals (1st) and 7 blocks.Both the Wildcats and Lady Kats will play Diamond Hill Tuesday at home with the Lady Kat varsity at 6:30 p.m. and the Wildcat varsity at 8 p.m. It will be Senior Night for the Lady Kats.Read more at Star
