The Symphonic Band?s program included: The Billboard March by John Klohr, Choreography by Robert Sheldon, and Undertow by John Mackey.

The Concert Band?s program included: Circus Days March by Karl King, In a Quiet Place by Bill Calhoun, and Joy Revisited by Frank Ticheli. The musical selection program for the Concert Band is significant in that the difficulty level of these pieces was very challenging for the younger of Kennedale?s two bands. With the student make up of this non-varsity group being mostly freshmen and sophomores, it is all the more impressive that the concert band was awarded the first division rating.
