The first two innings were no indication of the later Wildcat onslaught. ?Kennedale first score was by Hayden Millis who got on base with an error. ?But his score was the only score for Kennedale in the first two innnings while Wyatt scored 4 runs. ?In the second inning it was three up and three down for Kennedale. But things changed dramatically in the 3rd. The Wildcats scored four runs in the third on a two-run triple by Zac “Willie” Michener, a groundout by Josh Taylor, and an RBI triple by Austin Hunt. O.D. In the 4th Kennedale got two more runs after Justin Braswell walked and then scored on a hit by Jake Michener who scored after Zac Michener reached base on a ground ball error. Kennedale scores two more in the 5th with a triple by Josh Taylor a single by Austin Hunt and sacrifice fly by Austin Eggston.?

The 6th continued the scoring for Kennedale with 3 more runs off of a triple by Jake Michener and a double by Austin Hunt. They piled up the runs scoring three runs in the seventh inning with a double by by Josh Taylor and singles by Justin Braswell, Jake and Zac Michener.

O.D. Wyatt wasn’t able to score a run off of Brett Taylor during his 5 2/3 innings on the hill. Brett Taylor struck out three and allowed two walks and four hits.
