Playoff notes …?
?
The playoff will not start until next week but if things go as they should on Tuesday night both Kennedale and Dunbar will go down in the record book as co-champs of District 9-4A for 2019. But co-champs to do fit the playoff brackets, one has to be the top seed while the other is the second seed so the playoff brackets can be completed.
?
There are several option. One way is for one of the coaches to volunteer his team to go as the second seed. Another way is for coaches to flip a coin for position. The third way is to have a one game playoff to decide the seeding. While any one of these options can determining seeding it does not change the district standings, both remain as co-champs.
?
Expect a decision, soon, if it has not already been made.
