Tarrant County authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating an elderly couple last seen early Monday evening in Fort Worth.

Jay Harry Brown, 85, and Shirley Horton Brown, 82, were last contacted about 6 p.m. Monday near Hemphill Avenue and Interstate 20.

According to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, the two were lost and confused and trying to get back to their home in near Kennedale, in southeast Tarrant County. They have not been heard from since.

They were last seen driving a silver 2017 Dodge Caravan, Texas license plate number 513-DV1.

Jay Brown is described as five-foot-11 and about 130 pounds, with gray hair, brown eyes and a gray goatee.

Shirley Brown is five-foot-seven and 137 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She uses a walker.

Anyone with information as to the couple’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office at 817-884-1213.
