There was no weeping on the Wildcat side last Friday as the Cats beat the visiting Castleberry Lions 56-0. It was over quickly.
All but seven points of the total points were scored in the first half. Most of the second half was played with a running clock.
It was a district game and it helped Kennedale to improve to 2-0 in district play, setting up this week’s showdown with Lake Worth (4-1, 2-0). The Lake Worth Bulldogs were a pick to vie for the top spot this year in District 6/4A.
