The #9 Kennedale Lady Kats improved their record to 20-3 with a victory over Godley who finished their season at 18-11 overall and 10-2 in District 11/4A where they were the 2nd seed.
Kennedale will play tonight at Coppell High School against Celina (20-4, 11-1) in the regional quarterfinals.

Celina is the champion in District 9/4A beating out Melissa (21-9, 11-3), Aubrey (18-7, 9-4), and Van Alstyne (15-9, 1-5). Their losses this season came by the way of Decatur (3-0), Bridgeport (3-1), Gunter (3-1) and Van Alstyne (3-2).
