The Kennedale Lady Kats have improved their record to 16-17 with back-to-back match wins over Life Waxahachie and Ferris, both by identical scores of 3 sets to 1.
The Lady Kats are now 7-4 in the district with one match left in both district play and the regular season. Kennedale’s last game is against Hillsboro.
The Hillsboro Lady Eagles are currently 10-22 overall and 3-8 in the district and are coming off a 3-0 loss to 2nd place Alvarado. The Kats own a 3-1 win over Hillsboro back on September 30th
Kennedale is solidly in the 3rd place which will earn the team a 3rd seed in the upcoming state UIL playoffs.
The Hillsboro game is set for 5 p.m. Tuesday at Hillsboro. This match game has added meaning for the Lady Kats who can end their regular season with a winning record of 17-17.
