This has been the story for District 5/4A this year. In securing the Cats? 6th consecutive undefeated district title, Kennedale has outscored district opponents 310 to 41. For the season, the Wildcats have outscored all opponents this season by 554 to 116.After getting behind 21-0 in the first quarter, Lake Worth was faced with a 48-0 halftime score. The Wildcats went on to win 62-0.

For the game, the Wildcat offense rolled up 515 yards with 408 rushing and 107 passing. The Kennedale defense limited Lake Worth to 116 yards with all but 14 of that on the ground for a 2.8 average per carry. Lake Worth loss one fumble.
 
In district play, Lake Worth qualified for the playoffs as the 4th seed from the district and will play the first seed from 6/4A, Midlothian Heritage (10-0) Friday. Kennedale, as the top seed from District 5/4A will play the 4th seed from District 6/4A, Carrolton Ranchview (5-5, 2-3), Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Hill High School.

  • QB Evan Jowers (Jr) went 4-7 for 107 yards with no interceptions and 2 TDs. For the regular season Jowers has passed for 783 yards (42/64,10 TDs, 78.3 pga, with 2 interceptions) and rushed for 425 yards (6.9 avg, 7 TDs).

  • Jaden Knowles (Sr) rushed for 119 yds on 4 carries and 3 TDs. He has finished the regular season with 1,284 yards with an average of 13.0 yds per carry and 23 TDs.
  • De?shaun ?DJ? Kirven (Jr) rushed for 98 yards on 5 carries and 2 TDs. For the season he has rushed for 1300 yards at 11.7 avg with 23 TDs and had 10 receptions for 156 yds and 2 TDs.
  • David Roper (Sr) 1 run for 44 yards and 1 TD and had 2 receptions for 83 yards and 2 TDs. For the season has rushed for 249 yards on 22 carries for 11.3yd avg and 3 TDs and has caught 9 passes for 143 yards and 3 TDs.
  • Micah Conner (So) got some playing time rushing for 103 yds on 11 carries (9.4 agv) and 1 TD
  • Larry Brooks (Sr) picked up 93 yards on 3 punt returns for the night. He also had 10 tackles. For the season, he has 87 tackles with 6 TFL, 3 interceptions, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 blocked FG and 2 TDs. And he has a total of 251 yards on punt returns averaging 14.8 yards per.
  • Kicker Kevin Tiero (Sr) went 8/8 on PAT for the game and had 10 kick-offs for 595 yards. For the season he is 60/65 on PAT, 3 for 3 on field goals and has average 58.7 on kickoffs with 48 touchback kicks this season out of a total of 78.
  • Ector Rivera (Sr) led in tackles with 15 with 3 for loss. For the season he has 97 tackles with 12 TFL, 1 sack
  • Jalen Myers (Jr) had 13 tackles with 1 for loss. For the season he has 61 tackles with 10 TFL, 3 sacks and 1 fumble.
  • Ali Latifi (Sr) 12 tackles with 1 for loss
  • JD Coffey 11 tackles with 1 for loss. For the season he has 53 tackles with 8 TFl, 1 sack, 4 interceptions and 1 TD
