Among items that the City

of Kennedale will consider tonight will be a possible revision of

Nuisance Ordinance relating to junked cars, aircraft and watercraft, high

grass, trash and other junk with the goal that it will bring it more in compliance with Texas

Health and Safety Codes.{{more}}

Also on the agenda is the proposed sale of property at

200-202 Sixth Street for the construction of a church; the appointments of new YAC

members, a Planning and Zoning Commission member: and, the reappointment of the Muncipal

Judge, Associate Judge and the Alternate Judge.

 

The Kennedale

City Council will meet in regular session today, May 18 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 405 Municipal Drive with the Work Session a 5:30 pm and the regular session at 7:00 pm.

A special called meeting will be held at 5:15 to certify the May 9 election results and the swearing in of the elected council

members Charles Overstreet, Mike Walker and Frank Fernandez for two year terms.

WORK SESSION (5:30 pm) NOTE: Pursuant to Section 551.071, Texas Government Code, the City Council reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the work session or the regular session to discuss posted executive session items or to seek legal advice from the City Attorney on any item posted on the agenda.
