The City of Kennedale is advertising for a public works – parks maintenance worker.
Duties include assisting with the mowing, maintenance, trash removal of city parks and medians and other duties as assigned to assist with maintenance of streets and water/wastewater systems, guardrails and drainage repairs. {{more}}
The applicate must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED with a valid Texas Class C driver?s license, and have a record of dependability, ability to understand and follow directions.
The job involves outdoor work, including temperature extremes and moderate to heavy lifting. Applicants must have the ability to lift, push, pull, stand for long periods of time; squat, kneel, reach, and operate equipment necessary for job duties listed above. A drug screen and background check will be performed prior to employment.
Approximate work hours are Monday – Wednesday or Wednesday ? Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The pay rate is $10.00 hour and the city will furnish personal protective equipment.
