? ? ?The Kennedale Wildcats lost a hotly contested 4-3 game in seven innings on Saturday at Kennedale after surrending the lead in the sixth inning.

? ? ?Jake Michener was solid at the plate for the Wildcats. Michener went 3-4. He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings. {{more}}

? ? Kaufman’s White got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. White struck out three, walked two and gave up three hits.

? ? The top of the first saw Kaufman take an early lead, 1-0. Thompson singled to ignite Kaufman’s offense. A single by White then moved Thompson from first to second.?The lead stayed with Kaufman after the sixth, when it scored three runs on an error, a sacrifice fly by Borders, and an RBI single by Rawson.

? ?Kennedale scored one run in the bottom of the seventh to cut their deficit to one. A fielder’s choice gave the Wildcats life. White ended the game by getting Justin Jakubisin to fly out.
