Nacogdoches, Texas (June 21, 2018) – Claire Millis of Kennedale has been named to the Dean’s List at Stephen F. Austin State University for the spring semester. {{more: continue …}}
Millis, a junior at SFA, is majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies. This is the 5th straight semester for Millis to earn either a place on the President?s List or the Dean?s List.?
To be eligible for the Dean?s List, a student must be enrolled in 12 or more semester hours and maintain a grade-point average of 3.5. To earn the President?s List a student must have a 4.0 grade point average for their course work while carrying at least 12 semester hours.

Austin State University (SFA) is a public university located in Nacogdoches,

Texas, United States. Founded as a teachers’ college in 1923, the university

was renamed after one of Texas’s founding fathers, Stephen F. Austin. Its

campus resides on part of the homestead of Thomas Jefferson Rusk. Stephen F.

Austin is one of four independent public universities in Texas (i.e., those not

affiliated with one of Texas’s six university systems).
