Ann went to be with the Lord on July Third. She was born on June 13, 1937 in Montague, Tx to Harold (Bud) Fields and Dorothy Lloyd Fields. She graduated from Mansfield High School in May 1955. She attended college at TCU where she received an associate’s degree and later attended California Baptist College. Ann worked her entire career as a banking administrative assistant. The majority of her career was spent at North Fort Worth Bank which late became Northwest Bank and finally became Wells Fargo Bank. She retired from Wells Fargo in 1999. She then worked for her son-in-law and daughter for a few years at his company, Kennedale Mansfield Plumbing. Ann also sold Mary Kay and later Deborah’s Collection cosmetics during most of her adult life. She made many great longtime friends selling and demonstrating these products. Then she and her husband retired and moved to Whitney, Tx in 2005 which was their residence at the time of her passing. {{more}}

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Mike Mathias, Sr. of Whitney, her son and daughter-in-law Craig and Kristi Earp of Crockett, Tx; her daughter Kim Earp Mayse and son-in-law Robbie of Grandview, Tx. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Cannon Earp and wife Samantha; Krisann Earp Watson and husband Will; Kendall Earp; Carson Earp; Cooper Earp; Rachael Mayse Cummings and husband Brandon; Rustin Mayse and wife Ashli; Justin Driver and wife Danielle; Misty Mayse; and Melody Mayse. She was also privileged and happy to know and love her three year old and younger grandchildren Brooklynn Kate Cummings, Hadlee Deann Cummings, Mallory Kate Earp, and one yet unborn great-grandchild. Ann lived for her family. They were the love of her life.

Ann was a true Christian woman that was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Kennedale for many years and after moving, was active in the First Baptist church of Whitney.
?
Ann was a wonderful person, wife, mother, and friend. She is irreplaceable and will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the multipurpose fund of the First Baptist Church of Kennedale will be appreciated.
