One card good at Kennedale, Arlington and Mansfield Libraries

The Kennedale Public Library has partnered with the Arlington and Mansfield public libraries to expand past the traditional walls of a library building. This new group of libraries is known as the Arlington Kennedale Mansfield Library Partnership.

 
A library card from any three consortium library will be honored at all the other consortium libraries {{more}}IF the patron lives within one of the consortium cities. Any patron who has a card from Kennedale but does not live within the Kennedale city limits will be denied service from Arlington but will be allowed to use the Mansfield Public Library.
 
The online catalog allows patrons to search all of the consortium resources, place holds, and request materials to be sent by courier to the consortium library of their choice.
 
The online catalog also allows patrons to review their own account to see what they have out, to renew materials from their accounts, and to replace passwords. Reading lists can be created if the patron asks the library staff to enable the system to retain the list of material checked out by the patron from the time that they enable the feature.
 
Library cards can be obtained

by visiting any of the consortium libraries, filling out an application and

providing a Texas driver’s licesnce or other photo ID as proof of identity.
