Brian Gossett (dfwVarsity) has listed Kennedale as one the top 12 area teams to watch and Kennedale blocker Raeley Crosley (Jr) as one of the top 30 players to watch.

The 2015 team set a high standard, not only playing 44 matches, winning 30 but capturing their second consecutive district title by going 10-0 in district play; making the playoffs for the 9th straight year; placing 10 on the all-district team while winning a first ever national honor for academic performance. However, the team lost in the playoff area round, making it four times in a row.
This will be the third year for Head Coach Jennifer Patterson and a special one because this group of players definitely carries her coaching stamp.returning strong …
Returners this year include 6 from last year?s District 7-4A All-District teams. All-district players returning are Raeley Crosley (Jr) ? All-District Blocker (2014 ? 1st Team); Jodie Dixon (Sr) ? All-District Server; Bethany Klingenberg (Sr) ? 1st Team (2014 ? 2nd Team); Ranaja Taylor (Sr) ? 1st Team; Grace Guadagnolo (So) ? 2nd Team All-District; and, Emma Riffe (Sr) ? 2nd Team All District.

Kennedale starts off the new season today with a match against Lorena High School at Kennedale High School. The freshmen and JV teams will play at 5:30 pm with the varsity scheduled to start at 8:15 in the Wildcat gym.This weekend the Lady Kat Varsity will be playing in the Mansfield High School Volleyball tournament.
