“South Pacific” three show run at the Kennedale Performing Arts Center

South Pacific will be blowing into Kennedale with three performances this weekend at the Kennedale Performing Arts Center. The play billed as one the most popular Broadway musical features favorites like Some Enchanted Evening, Wash That Man Right Out My Hair, There is Nothing Like the a Dame, and Bali Ha?i. This is not serious drama but it is a dancing, singing, toe tapping musical. It is something to get out of the heat in a cool auditorium to relax and enjoy. {{more}}
The musical is a Roger & Hammerstein production and is being presented by Mainstage Classic Theatre, located in Mansfield. Mainstage?s goal is to present ?exceptional theatre experience for those in Mansfield, Kennedale, Arlington, Midlothian and Surrounding Areas.? Productions often include Kennedale performers or stage crew members. The musical will be backed by a full orchestra.
Two performances are scheduled for Saturday, July 20 at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. The third and last performance will be Sunday, July 21 at 3 p.m. All performances are in the Kennedale Performing Arts Center located at 901 Wildcat Way in Kennedale.
