The number of confirmed cases gone from 71 cases in the county last Tuesday to 175 today. there are an additional 98 cases under investigation as possible COVID-19 cases. Update:? The 98 cases listed as “under investigation” haved been moved to confirmed for a total of 273 cases as of 1:45 p.m.?today.? This is an increase of 202 cases in one week. There still is only 1 death reported countywide while there are 8 cases listed as recovered.

The number of cities reporting confirmed cases has jumped from less than a dozen to 25. The City of Kennedale, so far, remains without a reported case.

  • Arlington – 27 confirmed, 1 recovered plus 19 under investigation. Last week Arlington had 14 cases. UPDATE: Confirmed 46, none under investigation.
  • Everman – 1 confirmed case. This was no change from the previous week.
  • Forest Hill – 3 confirmed, 1 under investigation. Last week there was 1 case. UPDATE: 4 confirmed none under investigation.
  • Fort Worth – 61 confirmed, 3 recovered, 33 under investigation. Last week there were 24 cases. UPDATE: 94 confirmed, none under investigation.
  • Mansfield – 10 confirmed, 3 under investigation. Last week there were 5 cases. UPDATE: 13 confirmed none under investigation.
